A participant in the Lord Baltimore Annual Holiday Couture Tree Exhibit for 2023, "Cotillion Christmas" was inspired by the legend & lore of this magnificent hotel.
 
The grand elegance of the Lord Baltimore Hotel made me envision a time long ago when people dressed to the nines to go out.
A Cotillion or Debutante Ball was a young woman’s introduction to society and always an elegant affair. 
Imagining young couples waltzing around the Ballroom… you can almost hear the music & feel the spirits of years gone by.
 
A white wire mannequin base hosts a white large bow top adorned with black roses, a crystal embellished black velvet belt, and a white crinoline with flashing lights, sparkly tulle, and more black roses & crystal embellishments. A beautiful black & white ribbon bow adorned with white ostrich feathers tops her off.
